Import a book cover from PDF
Not every PDF preserves the same internal structure. Some contain recoverable text and vectors while others are already flattened. The editor therefore provides an exact visual reference and a hybrid editable mode.
Exact reference
Reference mode preserves the page appearance so you can redesign on top of it, verify dimensions or compare a new version against the original artwork. The reference can be excluded from export.
Editable reconstruction
When the PDF contains recoverable objects, the importer can extract text, images and vector artwork. Reconstruction may require adjustments because PDF describes a final page rather than an editing document.
Privacy and limits
Server processing uses size, time and rate limits. If server tools are unavailable, the editor can use the browser engine when possible to keep the workflow available.
