Cookie and local storage policy

1. Scope

This policy applies to yrvdesign.com and explains cookies, browser local storage and equivalent technologies. It complements the Privacy Policy.

2. Necessary technologies

The YRVSESSID session cookie maintains secure sessions when a feature requires one, including protected forms, accounts, the client panel, payment or contract flows. It uses controls such as HttpOnly, SameSite and Secure when the connection is HTTPS.

The website may store strictly functional preferences such as language, visual theme and your privacy choice. These preferences are not used on their own to build advertising profiles.

Necessary technologies cannot be disabled through the privacy panel because they are required to provide the requested function, maintain security or remember your choice.

3. Optional first-party analytics

With your Analytics permission, YRV Design activates first-party measurement to understand visits, pages, approximate duration, interactions, forms, conversions and campaign sources. It may process URL, landing page, referrer, language, time zone, screen width, UTM parameters and, when present, advertising identifiers such as gclid, wbraid or gbraid.

The system creates random visitor and session identifiers in local storage. Server-side records may also include security-related technical data and approximate location derived from the IP, such as country, region or city; device GPS is not used. If YRV Design uses an external IP-geolocation provider, the IP address may be sent to that provider solely to determine this approximate location. Analytics data is retained for up to 365 days, except where a record must be retained for an applicable legal obligation or legal defence.

If you reject Analytics, this system does not start and its local identifiers are removed.

4. Google Ads and optional advertising

When you authorize the Advertising category and YRV Design uses Google Ads, its tags and advertising measurement may load according to your choice. Google may use cookies or identifiers for ad attribution, conversion measurement and its own functions under its policies.

If you reject Advertising, YRV Design does not load the Google Ads tag. If you later withdraw permission, YRV Design stops activating new advertising measurement and attempts to remove accessible related cookies; some third-party technologies may require additional controls in your browser or with the provider.

5. Stripe and third parties

When you start a payment you may be redirected to Stripe Checkout. Stripe may use its own cookies and technologies for security, fraud prevention, authentication and payment processing on its domain under its policies.

Links or integrations with Meta, WhatsApp and other providers may open third-party domains or apps with their own technologies. YRV Design does not control cookies installed by those parties outside yrvdesign.com.

6. Private areas

Account, client panel, payment and contract pages do not load YRV Design optional analytics or Google Ads. Only technologies needed for authentication, security, billing and service delivery remain in those areas.

7. Choose, reject or change

On your first public visit you can accept all, keep only necessary technologies or configure categories. Rejecting optional categories does not block basic site functions.

You can change your choice at any time through “Privacy settings” in the footer or the button on this page. Withdrawal applies going forward and does not invalidate processing lawfully carried out before the change.

You can also clear cookies and browser storage in your browser settings. Blocking necessary technologies may prevent login, security controls or certain functions from working correctly.
