Data you may ask us to delete

• Data submitted through yrvdesign.com forms.
• Contact data or commercial requests stored by YRV Design.
• WhatsApp conversation history stored in systems controlled by YRV Design, including messages and associated technical references.
• Copies of files/media received through WhatsApp where YRV Design has stored them.
• Automated-support or AI context stored by YRV Design to maintain the conversation.
• Meta/WhatsApp technical identifiers retained by YRV Design to operate or document support.
• Other identifiable personal data that can reasonably be located using the information in the request.

How to request deletion

1. Complete the form on this page or email contact@yrvdesign.com. No account or login is required.
2. Provide your name and a contact identifier related to the data. For WhatsApp requests, include the number you used, preferably with international country code.
3. Describe what should be deleted, for example all history, WhatsApp messages, a commercial request, files or contact data. Do not send passwords or unnecessary documents.
4. YRV Design may request additional verification proportionate to the risk to avoid deleting or disclosing another person’s data.
5. Once the data is located and the request is validated, YRV Design will delete, anonymise or restrict the information as appropriate and will communicate the outcome or any lawful retention reason.

Acknowledgement, timing and tracking

Requests submitted through the form generate a tracking reference and, when the provided email is valid and delivery is available, the requester automatically receives a YRV Design receipt confirmation. Email requests are acknowledged as soon as reasonably practicable.

Requests are handled free of charge within the legally applicable LGPD/ANPD timeframes for small processing agents. As an operational goal, YRV Design seeks to complete technically straightforward deletion within 30 days after identity and scope are validated, unless a legal duty, investigation, third-party dependency or justified complexity requires longer.

WhatsApp Business, Meta and deletion limits

This page concerns information controlled by YRV Design. If you contacted us through WhatsApp, you may request deletion of the history stored in YRV Design systems.

Deleting a conversation from your phone does not necessarily delete a copy previously stored by YRV Design; use this process for that request.

Deletion by YRV Design does not necessarily delete information directly controlled by Meta/WhatsApp, retained under their own obligations or remaining on other participants’ devices. Those records are subject to Meta/WhatsApp tools and policies.

YRV Design also handles automatic requests sent by Meta through a separate secure channel. Where applicable, Meta receives a tracking reference to check the request status.

When some information may be retained

• Compliance with legal, tax, accounting or regulatory duties.
• Regular exercise of rights, defence of claims or preservation of necessary evidence.
• Prevention, detection and investigation of fraud, abuse or security incidents.
• Data anonymised so that it no longer reasonably identifies the person.
• Minimum records of the privacy request itself, such as reference, date, scope and outcome, where needed to demonstrate compliance.

What happens after a request

• Data reasonably identifiable from the information provided is located.
• YRV Design checks whether a lawful retention basis applies to any part of it.
• Data subject to deletion is erased, anonymised or removed from operational use where technically appropriate.
• The requester is informed of the outcome and any relevant lawful limitation.
• Where a provider processes relevant data on YRV Design’s behalf, reasonable steps are taken to reflect the request in that processing where applicable.
